Thank you for being part of the Climbing for Kids virtual mountain climb to the summit of Mount Elbrus (Russia). The Butterflies and Hope Founder and ONE Health Ohio CEO, Ronald Dwinnells, MD recently climbed Mount Elbrus (Continental High Point) and he is excited that you will be coming along for the journey, VIRTUALLY!
This Climbing for Kids campaign will raise money to aid suicide prevention programs that provide support to at-risk youth, their families and support systems.
Last year, Dr. Dwinnells climbed to the Roof of Africa (Mount Kilimanjaro) to raise funds to support children suffering from Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Through the support of our sponsors and the community, the Butterflies and Hope Memorial Foundation raised a total of $14,679! Recently, ONE Health Ohio & Butterflies and Hope teamed up to donate $25,000 to Family and Children First Council of Trumbull County to support the development of a trauma training program.

Dr. Dwinnells, The Butterflies and Hope Memorial Foundation and ONE Health Ohio join forces to support programs that will perform research on this topic, that will provide intervention strategies, and that will improve the lives of these deserving kids.
